We created this unique capsule where we combine our handmade hats from Argentina from ElEncón made with 100% sheep wool with our stunning embroidered straps handcrafted by our talented community of women in Guatemala. This piece is made entirely by hand.
El Encón hats are made by hand by a family of artisans from northern Argentina, who have mastered for generations. On the other hand, we curated vintage straps from Chichicastenango Market, these straps were previously worn by indigenous woman of Guatemala. We believe in sustainable fashion that’s why this collection is about bringing back to life unique pieces and to truly give them a second life.
Our Vintage Hat is a sample of both artisans skills. The strap has been embroidered to complement this hat, combining the black tones of both products. We have added vegetable tanned leather from Argentina, and the strap size is adjustable.
