Our Tote Bag has been handcrafted with vegetal tanned leather from Argentina and a traditional second hand huipil from the village of Patzún, Guatemala. This colourful pattern was originally created on a back-strap loom and feature hand-embroidery by a community of women in Guatemala. No two bags are the same!
Our leather products are carefully crafted by our Argentinean artisan partner in a small home workshop in Buenos Aires using tanned vegetable leather. Our premium quality leather is tanned without the use of harmful chemicals. We want to minimize environmental impact while we crafted our leather products.
Our leather made in Argentina since 1956 received the Argentine Good Design Hallmark, an official distinction awarded by the Ministry of Production to products of the domestic industry that outstanding for their innovation, betting on local production, positioning in the market and design quality.
