The strap perfect for your bag or camera is lovingly hand-embroidered by a collective of Indigenous women from San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala. Each piece is a powerful expression of resilience — these women, survivors of violence, have turned embroidery into both a source of income and a form of healing through creativity.
The design showcases vibrant flowers, hummingbirds, and the quetzal — the national bird of Guatemala and a sacred symbol in Mayan culture. Representing freedom, beauty, and the spirit of the forest, the quetzal adds powerful meaning to each piece. Every stitch reflects the artisan’s story, strength, and deep cultural heritage.
The leather components are handcrafted in a small workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by our skilled artisan partner. We use vegetable-tanned leather, free from harmful chemicals, to reduce environmental impact while ensuring premium quality and durability.
Our leather, proudly made in Argentina since 1956, has been awarded the Argentine Good Design Hallmark — a national recognition granted by the Ministry of Production to products that stand out for their innovation, local craftsmanship, market positioning, and design excellence.
