Workshops

At FlylikeStore, we believe in the power of threads to weave stories, memories, and community.

Our workshops are a space to learn, create, and connect with the roots of Guatemalan culture alongside women artisans who keep their traditions alive.

We host workshops at Casa de Diseño Stare Vie, in Guatemala City, and in the magical city of Antigua Guatemala, in collaboration with Algodones Mayas. Also we have started a new one with Maria from @sonohandmade where we teach you how to create your one leather vest blended with straps from Guatemala!

OPTION 1

Embroider You Own Strap (Antigua/ Ciudad de Guatemala)

Make Your Own Strap! In each session, master artisans Manuela and Pascuala Panto, from Chontalá, Quiché, Guatemala share the traditional embroidery knowledge used in fajas, passed down from generation to generation.

A unique space where every stitch connects us to our roots and transforms into soulful art.

Design your Own Vest with Guatemalan Straps (Buenos Aires)

Join us for a 5-hour creative workshop with María! You'll design and craft your own leather vest fused with vintage Guatemalan straps. We'll share some delicious bites along the way, and by the end, you'll take home your unique handmade vest — a true piece of art made by you.
